O presente projecto surgiu como uma auto-proposta baseada num enunciado fornecido anteriormente dentro do âmbito académico.
O objectivo da proposta consistia na promoção de uma primeira edição da série de exposições “Mostra de Design na UC“, de carácter fictício, que teria lugar na Sala de Exposições do Colégio das Artes.
Nesta exposição deveria estar patente o trabalho gráfico de uma designer, atribuída por sorteio a cada grupo, por forma a expor parte da história do design e contribuir para a divulgação da disciplina.
Em termos tangíveis, os alunos deveriam estruturar:
1. O espaço e conteúdos a expor dentro deste, a distribuição e enquadramento das obras dentro da área bem como os recursos e mecanismos tecnológicos a utilizar;

2. Toda a parte gráfica da exposição. Esta dever-se-ia estender e efectivar em materiais de comunicação que compreendessem a sinalização do espaço e obras apresentadas bem como a divulgação do evento.
Este trabalho centra-se na exploração e desenvolvimento do ponto 2. É apresentada uma proposta de identidade alternativa na qual o sistema visual associado ao evento é dotado de um carácter dinâmico generativo. Por forma a haver uma melhor compreensão desta e do conceito que lhe está associado, é feita uma retrospectiva às ideias base que alicerçaram o projecto.

The visual identity project shown here emerged from a self-proposed project work based on a previously provided statement within the academic scope.
The aim of the proposal was to promote the first edition of a series of fictitious exhibitions
entitled “Mostra de Design na UC“ that would take place in the Exhibition Hall of the School of Arts of the University of Coimbra.

In this exhibition, the graphic work of a female designer would be present, conducted through a raffle to each group, in order to display part of the design history and contribute to the dissemination of the subject.
In tangible terms, students should structure:
1. The space and contents to be displayed, the distribution and framing of the works within the field as well as the technological resources and mechanisms to be used;
2. The visual identity of the exhibition. This stage should take into account the creation of
communication materials aimed at signalling the exhibition spaces as well as the dissemination of the event.

This work focuses on the operation and development of the second point. An alternative
identity proposal is presented in which the visual system related to the event is equipped with a generative dynamic character. In order to have a better understanding of this and the concept associated with it, a retrospective analysis of the formulations considered to be the foundation of the project is made.

Os trabalhos de Luna Maurer, destacam-se pelo aspecto colaborativo e interactivo. Nestes, a designer faz uso da tecnologia incorporando-a enquanto ferramenta integrante tranversal aos seus projectos. Como tal, decidimos por, na exibição destes, incorporar também uma vertente tecnológica e de carácter participativo.
A exposição de cada um dos projectos é efectuada através de um sistema de descodificação. Num sistema em forma de hexágono, cada um dos trabalhos é apresentado através da pressão de dois botões pré-estabelecidos.
Este sistema foi implementado através do uso de Arduino e Processing.

Luna Maurer’s projects stand out for their collaborative and interactive look. The designer
makes good use of technology by incorporating it as an integrating tool that is transversal to her
work. Thus, we decided to incorporate a technological and participatory approach into the
exhibition.

Each project is exhibited through a decoding system. In a hexagon-shaped system, each work
is displayed by pressing two pre-set buttons.
